My name is Laura Kerr. I am a mobile Make-Up Artist from Dumfries. After leaving school I studied Graphics & Illustration at Dumfries & Galloway College. What appealed to me most was the precision drawing and attention to detail. After a year I began to realise that my ambitions were not being fulfilled and at this time I grew a real passion for Make-up.

In 2003 I moved to study at Newcastle College. In my first year I completed my Beauty Therapy and Cosmetic Make-Up courses and then went onto also gain a National Diploma in Fashion/Photograph & Theatrical Make-up in my second year. I then moved back to Dumfries and worked in Barbours our local department store. During my time there I gained knowledge on some of the leading cosmetic brands today.
